I've shot on the same Canon AE-1 since 2009, which was actually my mothers high school graduation gift. After moving house in high school, I stumbled across a beautiful leather camera case deep in the back of our hall closet. This camera was a complete mystery to me and I was immediately captivated by it's foreign intricacies. Having shot digitally for a few years prior, I was determined to understand this new machinery and explore how I could learn to speak through it.
